Circulation, Communities, and Constructs that Promote Harassment

Written for Studies in Composition and Special Topics in English Studies

This piece, Circulation, Communities, and Constructs that Promote Harassment, is a combination of two of the most substantial writing projects that I completed during my time at Auburn University. I initially began working to combine these two pieces into one in order to create a writing sample that was used in my application for PhD programs. As the title implies, this project works to connect theories on community writing with ideas from the field of Rhetoric and Composition about circulation by using Twitter and its policies as an example of circulated harassment. This piece has been undergoing serious revision since the Fall of 2021. Below you will find copies of the initial papers, a copy from mid-way through the revision process, the final product, and a short reflection piece.
