Bio
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and went on to attain my undergraduate degree in Professional Writing and Political Science at Slippery Rock University. While there I worked under Dr. John Silvestro who sparked my interests in publics theory and encouraged me to attend graduate school.
At Auburn University I have been a MA student in Rhetoric and Composition. I focus mainly on digital rhetorics and feminist rhetorics, particularly in the case of digital harassment towards women. I also have interests in publics theory and policy writing. I've had the great privilege to work under Dr. Leigh Gruwell and Dr. Charlie Lesh throughout my time here.
While at Auburn I've been involved in our composition program as both an instructor of record and an assistant to the WPA. I also served on the Composition Committee throughout my entire time at Auburn. In addition to my work with the composition program, I've also worked at the Miller Writing Center as a Peer Consultant and worked as an assistant to Dr. Paula Backscheider in my final year of graduate school.

After graduation, I intend to continue writing, learning, and fighting back against online structures and platforms that silence and refuse to properly protect minority groups.
